Chapter one · The beginning
We were tourists in our own culture
A few years ago, a handful of us set out on a cross-country trip with a loose plan and a lot of curiosity. We wanted to find welcoming lounges, browse local dispensaries, and catch a festival or two along the way. What we found instead was a maze — outdated listings, mystery hours, laws that changed at every state line, and no single place that treated cannabis travel like the joyful experience it actually is.
By the third state, we were screenshotting phone numbers and asking strangers for directions. There had to be a better way to explore the culture we loved — something built with the same care you'd expect from a great travel guide.
Chapter two · The middle
So we built the guide we wished we had
We stopped complaining and started building. First came a simple map — a way to see, at a glance, which states welcomed us and what the rules were. Then came the directory: real categories, honest details, and a place for every kind of space, from consumption lounges and glass galleries to cannabis-friendly hotels and infused dining rooms.
We obsessed over the details that other sites skip. Clear hours. Genuine photography. Amenities you actually care about. Reservations you can request in a tap. Piece by piece, a scrappy travel hack grew into a full discovery platform — one that made planning feel like part of the adventure instead of a chore.
