Does The Garden sell marijuana?
No! The Garden does not sell marijuana. The Garden Gifts marijuana to consumers 21 and over with valid State IDs under the Intiative 71 Law.
What is the difference between a Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid strain?"
Typically, sativa flower strains offer a cerebral high; providing a more uplifting and euphoric experience.
Typically, indica flower strains offer a bodily sensation; providing a more relaxing experience.
Hybrids are a crossbreed between the two strains of flowers.
"I didn't like my flower." "My product is defective." Can I return it?"

What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the sativa plant. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. When consumed, It's effects have been proven to provide a feeling of relaxation, cures to illnesses, and homeostasis.

What is Initiative 71 (i71)?
Initiative 71 is the law that decriminalized the possession and sharing of small amounts of cannabis/THC in DC. Therefore, it is legal to gift up to 1 oz of flower to another person without a monetary exchange. The Garden is an Initiative 71-Compliant Shop, therefore does NOT sell weed, but gifts free weed with token purchases. Learn more about getting weed in Washington DC here.
Do I need a medical marijuana card to shop?
No, we gift THC under Initiative 71, we are not a dispensary. Therefore, you can receive THC items with any valid state ID proving that you are 21 or older.
Do I need a D.C. ID to shop?
No, you need a valid ID from any state that proves that you are 21 years old or older.
How much weed can I be gifted at once?
One person can be gifted up to one ounce, within a 24 hour span. For example, Bobby who is 21 from Indiana, can be gifted one ounce of flower on Monday morning and can come back again on Tuesday to be gifted another. He cannot come back Monday night, though.
Do you sell pounds, or do you know where I can buy a pound?"
Selling, gifting, and posessing pounds of weed is illegal in D.C. We do not sell nor buy pounds of weed.
Can I sell you my products?
We enjoy contracting with local CBD vendors. Feel free to email info@dcthegarden.com with details about yout product. However; we do not buy THC products from anyone, as it is illegal.
